Rooted in passion, built with purpose
The Heart Behind MDC
Momentum Dance Company was born from a deep love for teaching and a lifelong passion for dance. Every experience — from performing on stage to working in customer service and design — helped shape this journey and inspired me to pour into the next generation through movement.
I trained for 15 years at Julie’s School of Dance and have spent the past five years teaching at South Walton Dance Company. In high school, I danced with the Blue Thunder Danceline Team at JR Arnold High School, where I earned superior ratings in both group and solo competitions and had the honor of performing at Walt Disney World in 2017. I’ve also assisted former NFL Bengals Cheerleader Ashley Brooks, owner of South Walton Dance Company, and currently teach Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop in Freeport, Florida. Each of these opportunities has strengthened my skills as a dancer and educator — and deepened my passion for helping students shine. At MDC, my mission is simple: to create a space where every child feels seen, encouraged, and excited to move. Dance is more than just steps — it’s confidence, creativity, discipline, and joy. I’m committed to fostering that joy in every class, one dancer at a time.
