I grew up in a ballet studio in Maine, Maine State Ballet. I got my BA in dance at the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College. At Dean I was fortunate enough to partake in their Dance Company. dancing the White Swan variation from Swan Lake and the Teresina variation from Napoli. After school was my first paid performance with Spindle City Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. Rolls included lead Arabian and Ballerina Doll.

Christy classically trained on scholarship at The Ailey School in New York City before finding her love in professional musical theater and commercial dance. She performed many genres of dance globally in theaters, industrials and with touring companies, as well as holding a Dance Captain and featured dancer/singer position with Princess Cruise Lines. Come addional additional professional theatre credits include; CATS (Cassandra/Asst. to Choreographer/Dance Captain), W.S.S. (Consuela/Dream Maria/u.s. Rosalia), Annie (Ronnie Boylan/Dance Captain/ u.s. Lily, Grease (Patty Simcox), Chicago (Hunyak), Hairspray (Brenda), Sweet Charity (Frenchy), Cabaret (Rosie), A Christmas Carol (Belle), Swing! (Featured Dancer), 42nd St. (Diane/Sexy Lady) as well as the original review shows "Boogie Wonderland" and "Piano Men." Christy now focuses on the educational side of dance by judging national dance competitions, choreographing, and teaching. She specializes in Broadway and Fosse style Jazz from the experience of her performing career and from her training under Chet Walker; a close mentor to Bob Fosse himself.

     These skills enable her to be a teacher who emphasizes technique as well as the importance of emotional execution. Christy enjoys all aspects of dance and is thrilled to share it in as many ways as possible.

Lacy Donnelly


     Lacy Donnelly has been teaching dance for 15 years. This year she was able to realize her dream of owning and operating her own studio. She took over Mendon Dance Center and created Mendon Dance Center Next Step in 2014. She hopes to bring her years of specialized training and love for dance to dancers who have the same passion, commitment and love for dance that she has.

     She specializes in Hip-hop, Cheer-dance, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater, and Cardio Kick Boxing. She has  attended four years of Dance Olympus where she took master classes with Steven Boyd, Michelle Smith, Maggie Johnson, and many more. She has also had the privilege of training with The Funky Bunch, Off the Curb, Manhattan Dance Project, The Patriots Cheerleaders, and the professional choreographers for Janet Jackson. In 2006 and 2008 Lacy attended the Dance Teacher Conference in New York where she studied with master teachers Rennie Harris, Greg Russell, Sheila Barker, Pat-Y-O, and Luam Keflezgy. Lacy was fortunate to attend classes in Conetmporary, Hip-hop, Jazz and tretdch at "The Movement" dance convention. it was here that Lacy was trained by the top finalists from "So You Think You Can Dance" as well as instrutors Jamie Goodwin, Ivan Koumaecv, Allison Holker, and 2007 winner Sabra Johnson. Her most recent training in Hip-hop was with Todd Shanks from Steps on Broadway in NYC. Lacy has also choreographed and performed for recording artist Susan Tedeschi at Berkley College of Music. Lacy has won choreography awards at such competitions as Headliners, Kars, Starbound and Dance Ovations. Lacy has recently had the opportunity to choreograph and tour with Jordan Jones and JoJo Siwa from Abby Lee's Ultimate Dance Competition.
